Chocobo Raise, Can I have it?

I was keeping my Homepoint in Ul while doing a last bit of exp gain in South Shroud to hit 30 on my tank. I was tanking the King Coeurl Fate. I had heals up to the end from others but then the heals stopped and I fell just as he did ( which I thought was awesome ) only to watch the massive group all leave the single dead mithra on the ground.

Seen the whole fate group leaving dead behind fairly often. Part of why I stick around for a sec to raise if I can, though some spots I don't stick around long due to a high likelyhood of dying when the normal mobs repop.
