Scholar as healer??

Thank you, and see, here's another confusing part. As scholar, I can go through my hunting log and my kills get credited to the Arcanist log. Same goes with White Mage and Conjurers hunting log, hence another reason I assumed DPS over Healing

I don't see how that's confusing. You are still the base class, WHM stems from CNJ, you are just a CNJ with more healing-based skills. Exp earned as a job credit the exp to the base class, and vice versa which of course means it's the same Hunting Log. It's really not that difficult.
