A lot of the immature members are blaming SE for this... It is a problem with ISP's, Since a Japanese Company opened Servers and are using a tiny amount of bandwidth (FFXIV Uses an estimated 100MB in 8 hours of playing.) They want to try making some money off them by cutting there bandwidth and making it such a big problem they wanna try getting a bribe to stop it (Welcome to Capitalist America!)
TL;DR
Best thing you can do is Call your Service Provider, Ask them about the throttling and try requesting that they Fix the Issue, As It's not SE's Fault that Greedy ISP's are getting Greedier.
Mine Recently Lifted its Throttling after i called explaining the throttle they put up and how i think it was unnecessary for the very small amount of data it is.
The Problem that persisting is that ISP's think or are using the excuse that this is very Data Heavy P2P Software (When it is in fact very very Minor) And want to use an excuse to try making your experience worse so you can complain, so they can in turn complain to the company; This has been done in the past for Marketing Schemes.... Not the most Honorable way of Business.
Expect that the Lag will fix itself in the future due the ISP's starting to Lay off, The way there Technicians are looking at it is :" A Very Large amount of data is starting to get pulled through our servers unexpectedly It must be Peer to Peer Data!"
The Best bet in all honesty, Call Your ISP, Talk to them about it, ask about your data usage, ask them if they block any P2P Programs or ask them if they have in the last week, explain to them its a game that you play and it Isn't exactly P2P, the only reason they block it is they think it is something illegal. There are some companies that Throttle up to 90% and admit to it, But after a good 'Complaint', they usually fix the problem if it isn't the first time.
Sorry for the rant, I felt i have to explain it from multiple angles so the people that don't get the concept get it, It's an unfortunate understandable event, But once Subscriptions Kick in, I am sure all these small Problems Will be fixed.
Honestly;
”仕方がないね?”
"It can't be helped."
But it will be fixed Hopefully soon.
