It's a bit of a glitch, they're supposed to say something about the faded crystals appearing before the "Ahem!" line, however every now and then they don't.

That's because they aren't talking to you when you see that text on the chatlog. I mean, I've always thought that the NPC is talking with someone else (local guildleve attendant, I guess...) and we interrupt the conversation. That's the reason for the "Ahem!" interjection and the lack of more information; it's supposed to be a private conversation, am I wrong?

PS: This is gettin' a bit absurd...
