That could be due to the fact that 30+ scholars are also allowed to queue as a healer.I'm very surprised about the tank/healer %
As a whm my queue time shot up to 20+minutes after 30. And every tank I know is instant queue all the way to 50.
So I suppose the statistics are leaving out VERY important information on the server. The overwhelming number of healers that actually do instances compared to the overwhelming number of newb tanks that seem to think the game consists of FATE zerging so they don't actually do dungeons.
First off, thank you, Hysterior (hope I spelled that correctly), for posting this info! Much appreciated!
Secondly, I'm pleasantly surprised by the data. Sometimes, I feel as if I'm so far behind "everyone else". I have only one adv class and one harvest class over 20 (and they're just barely over 20). All the rest are in the teens. I'm not rolling in gil. Sometimes it seems as if "everyone else" is in the mid-to-upper 30s on at least 10 different classes and has more gil than they know what to do with (as evidenced by some of the outrageous Market Board prices -- who can afford these things???).
This data, however, tells me I'm just plain average. And that suits me just fine. And, as a bonus, being Elezen, I'm a bit more rare, and that suits me fine, too!
It's nice to have this reaffirmation that it's ok to take my time and progress at my own pace!
First month, over 1 million is pretty good.
Seems like most players on non legacy realms are quitting.
Interesting about how many players are female and male, almost even with JP. One thing I noticed was how many people are stuck at 15. Is this because of the story quest and having to progress by dungeon group? I know once I had hit 15 and realized I was going to be forced to dungeon I lost interest in progressing the story and focused on testing other classes to 15. It sucks not having a retainer because you have to party up. Oh well. Interesting data.
Healer / Tank / DPS / Other ??????
Wtf does the 'other' mean? DoH and DoL ? There's no true support classes, and I'm pretty sure they are talking about DoW/DoM role distribution.
Well, it's male/female characters. If you don't know that.Interesting about how many players are female and male, almost even with JP. One thing I noticed was how many people are stuck at 15. I don't remember where I read it but it means players that were gathering/crafting at the time of the snapshot.
Player
That's cause most people probably get some class to 15 as the requirement for their job and then abandon it. (like I pretty much dumped my CNJ and THM at 15/26 once I got all the skills I needed for scholar.) Also with crafting, again, I wanted the level 15 culinarian cross skill so I got culinarian to 15 and now it's just sitting and rotting away (except when I do my GC dailies for seals ;3)Interesting about how many players are female and male, almost even with JP.
