lol awww :3
But still, posting pictures would make her post completely void. The direction she is trying to point everyone towards is that its something to do while we wait for the updates, or if you are around the area, have a look-see. ^^
does anyone know any cool stuff in the limsa lominsa region?
You must be absolutely unbearable.
Really cool thread idea, Azurymber! I'll have to go check out some of your listed spots on my own, too!![]()
Anima if i may ask, where in mor dhona is that cave with the glyphs? ^_^;What she's saying is true, I've been to many places and the world isn't just copy pasted, well most, but not all. there's not much difference when exploring some Unfamiliar Areas with Low Ranks or R50, why? coz the mobs are mostly R60-99 and you could be easily 1-5 shotted to death. I explored parts Mor Dhona and reached Fogfens/Troll when I was 30, and explored some parts of Coerthas while I was 20. I personally think that you guys should be grateful that she's even posting the coordinates. I'm posting some pics as a little proof.(Note:I mostly do this Solo or with small groups)

Hmm good tips to explore for sure but you really left out some stuff about character builds to travel easier. I explored as much as I could also and some places are very difficult to reach without proper stats.
Suggestions from me:
50 Archer - 30 seconds of Quickstride is still too short.
174 Vitality - More Hp, really improves chances of survival at some places.
Lots of Mind - Range attacks from many monster types have some magical properties.
HQ gear - More defense the better.
Defensive skills - Protect, Shell, Stoneskin, Rampart, Defender can save you. Shock spikes will likely not save you due to the fact ranged attacks from monsters will not trigger stun
Some areas very hard to explore:
Scorpions Keep - To get here you need to go from the underground tunnels which you will learn you need some luck just to pass. A gauntlet of Puroburos await you in the tunnels and 30 seconds of Quickstride will not be enough to see the light on the other side. Also be careful when entering any caves, Basilisk could be just inside hidden behind the sides to pick you off easily. Watch your mini-map closely.
Turning Leaf - One of the hardest areas for me to reach and with good reason. Triple Doomvoid Guivres are extremely difficult to pass by. Every river spot will have three of them to continue past and two hits is nearly a certain KO. Keep up buffs and time your stride well to get through.
Wyrmking's Perch - Trying to run past multiple toads which sticky tongue you back and forth all over your screen with no chance of escape is frustrating experience.
Do your best to be solid snake and avoid any detection if possible. I can teleport to everywhere now but it was really a challenge to do for sure at this point in the game. Good luck seeing the few but interesting enough uniquely decorated spots in the game which will probably have some use later.
Also not a single mention of snurbles, they are pretty rare in the game to see.

do you have the position of that? i'd like to add it in.Anima if i may ask, where in mor dhona is that cave with the glyphs? ^_^;

@Azurymber Excellent stuff! I have always wanted to explore every inch of Eorzea, but whenever I try and end up seeing nothing new, it just puts me to sleep. You basically cut my workload in to nothing, I will be using your guide at some point.
