Uh? how? Are you playing through the ps3 or something?

With mouse, you just stand within range of party members, click their name, heal, then click to next person while the first spell is being cast. There is a party bar with everyone's health that you can click to target members. As long as you don't have to chase them down or constantly heal the tank, it's usually a trivial action.

On the PS, you may need to setup a healing macro for individual party members unless you're practiced with targeting. Such as "/ac "cure" <1>"

That said, the classes which still have access to a healing(second wind) as an off-skill should still carry it for those instances when a healer has to choose between keeping the tank alive, or saving you because you decided to stand in the middle of a red circle. In addition to those times where the healer gets caught in something and gets killed in the middle of a boss fight and remaining members will need to pull together or waste time starting over.

Not to turn it into one of those conversations but imo healing is really convenient on controller too. All you do is press up/down on the d-pad to scroll through the party member list.
I really think they did a good job there. Admittedly, i havent done 8 man raids on my WHM yet but so far i think it works great.
