how can u like it It is missing everything spells to chose from differences in combat hell I don't even use any of the extra spells at all that don't affect enough to matter... have u played any other mmos before..

Level 3 limit break is Meteor. And it's massive and looks amazing.. your whole group will agree it's just about the coolest thing since.. ever. Just sayin.

But no, in all seriousness, I'm pretty thrilled with the BLM playstyle and spell graphics. Spam Fire, looks cool.. little fiery explosion.. Firestarter proc = huge massive explosion (fire III).. transition to regen with pretty much encasing your target in a big block of ice (Blizzard III). It's all pretty cool looking. Thunder III looks cool as hell too. I can't complain at all about the BLM spell effects.

Yes, I will agree the rotation is simple.. red (repeat until OOM), blue, lightning, red (repeat until OOM).. but it looks really good. You can't deny that. Visually, seeing BLM's in a raid.. is just breathtaking if you care about that stuff. Compared to most other MMO's (I never played FFXI).. it's just amazing.

adding Swift flare into your rotation every 60 seconds changes up the monotony.

for reference my rotation is like this (with swiftcast up)

Blizz 3
Thunder 2 or 3 (whatever i feel like)
Fire 3
Fire 1 ( using FS procs, and TC procs, Repeat until 500 mp)
Swiftcast
Flare
Transpose
(repeat from the top)

if you really want to get fancy, blizz 3 -> 50% reduced cast time fire 3 -> 50% reduced cast time Flare -> convert -> Swift Flare

I Dunno I am 50 now and my toon used the same looking 2 robed until I obtained the official black mage gear at 45-50 and still spamming the same exactly look spells from fuckin level 1 and I cant sub class all the ability's I want from a second class .... that makes it less desirable.

Personally I don't know why they swapped our cross class skills with arcanist I want pugilist back. *gazes at internal release*
