Finally got my Girlfriend to play FF14

i don't understand, whats the point of live streaming you playing this or any game in general?

Do some ppl just find it fun and thats what they like to do? or does it actually serve some other purpose?

The ones i most enjoy are very engaging with the people in chat, and have great personalities. Ducksauce, while i question his playstyle, is really fun to watch, along with Talutha and others. The more boring ones just stream the game and sometimes have a camera on their face, but aren't as interesting to watch.

For the streamers, if they get a decent amount of viewers, they can make over a couple grand a month or more for the biggest names, for playing a game and being interesting.

I don't really get it either. Why watch when I can just play. No offense to those that do.
