SEE Agent Michael: I am having some issues at the moment, could you please explain the issue here?
You: sure
You: I move from AoE instantly, run a long way away, and still consistently get hit
SEE Agent Michael: I am afraid we do not do any ingame support here, you would need to contact a GM
You: and how would i do that?
SEE Agent Michael: In FFXIV?
You: in FFXIV ARR
SEE Agent Michael: In the game menu you will have a service desk option
SEE Agent Michael: There will be support links there.
You: I see a support desk option
You: is that it
SEE Agent Michael: Yes
You: okay, under that option I see a 'contact us' tab
You: i click it
You: and see 4 options
You: Report Harrasment, Report Cheating, Report a Bug and Leave a Suggestion - which option would I need to select?
SEE Agent Michael: If you feel the issue is a bug, then that option.
You: ok, It specifically states 'Please note we are unable to provide individual responses to reports' so how do I get to speak with someone about my problem in person?
SEE Agent Michael: If you are only reporting a bug it would be looked in to, if you need any gameplay advice you should check the forums.
You: well, over a week ago, I did follow this route and received what I presume was an automated respose, directing me toward the Technical Support sub forums. And...
You: I then posted about my problems there, and as yet have not received any 'support'
You: or any acknowledgement that any one from Square Enix has even read my post.
SEE Agent Michael: I am afraid there is not really much I can do.
You: So essentially I am feeling there is no support for the game currently nor for players experiencing an issue?
SEE Agent Michael: There would be ingame support, but it would take a while for bugs to be looked in to. We only handle support for the accounts here I am afraid.
SEE Agent Michael: you could try selecting one of the other ingame options to talk to a GM
You: Each one states 'Please note we are unable to provide individual responses to reports' so although you have stated 'There would be ingame support' I am unable to garner support with my problem.
You: Which brings me to a position where I must ask, how to go about seeking a refund for Collectors Edition on PS3, and Standard edition on PC which I bought and registered to my Square Enix account but currently are not fit for purpose.
SEE Agent Michael: Contact the retailer you purchased the game from I am afraid.
You: I have, and they state they are unable to accept opened software as returns
SEE Agent Michael: I am sorry about that, we can only offer refunds for games purchased from our store.
SEE Agent Michael: Issues with the game will be looked in to, unfortunately I do not have any other information at the moment.
You: So are you stating the retailer is responsible for refunding my money? Because I can print this conversation and take that too store if that is the case.
SEE Agent Michael: Yes, the retailer is responsible for this. The would then return the game to the distributor.
You: okay thank you for your time, I will print out this conversation and go back to my retailer.
SEE Agent Michael: Again I am sorry I could not help further.
SEE Agent Michael: Thank you for visiting our SQUARE ENIX Support Chat line. Take care and have a good day!
I could tell you my adventures — beginning from this morning,
but it's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.
