I don't think anyone really cares about aetherial gear... But if that's your only reason for rolling "need," then meh. You still have lousy odds of getting the materia you want. >.>

How? I turn in gear for seals then I turn around and use those seals for gear for my other characters or I use it for EXP boost for crafting and gathering. You'd be a dick to deny me the opportunity to get seals from a dungeon that doesn't normally grant seals.

Because FATEs don't easily give you double the seals in far less time? Yeah, you'd still be a dick in this case.
