Luminary VS Craft Quest 50 tools.

I kinda agree with you. But, I'm coming to see the Luminary tools as something you eventually end up with, showing how much crafting you've done. Not something you sit and specifically craft to get.

Did that make sense?

Like instead of slaving away at crafting so many recipes of each level, after crafting in the game for a while, you find that you've done enouhg crafting to earn the luminary tool. Something to show off how much you've contributed to yourself and others with your craft. Showing that you're not just level 50, but experienced at it as well.

I like your thinking Tryst. I was main crafter, so I didn't really have much to do at the time (not much content then) so really that's what I meant by slaving away (was all I really did after a time). Not such a bad viewpoint though. ^^

I hope you didn't take my post to be mocking you in any way, I started writing it (at work) and got distracted, and then came back a few minutes later to finish my thought. So I didn't remember your original wording. It was truly just my thoughts on it, because I did spend some time thinking about going for the luminaries before 1.0 shut down.
