Until SE stop treating gathering and crafting classes as equals to battle classes the story missions will always suck. It's one thing XI did way better, and one thing I hope the new development team changes. I don't know ANYONE who would want to do their missions as a crafter or gatherer yet SE caters to the 0.001% who do. You should be forced to rank up a battle class if you wish to do the story missions. If you don't want to, tough, go play something else. We won't miss you. The story shouldn't suck just because a handful of people want to throw rocks all the way through.
