    Thanks bayohne that's all we can ask right now, we as a playerbase however will not be letting this topic die. Is it possible you can point Yoshi himself into the direction of this topic and explain the urgency of need for a comment fro him regarding this. This is by far one of if not the biggest issue that should be on SE plate whether it be updating the engine to DX11 or not. Summer is fast approaching and we would like to put this behind us as a playerbase and move onto even more game mechanics.

    That would be shooting themselves in the foot, considering there might still be plans to put FF14 on 360. Though if the PC base eventually recovers, that might be a different story.

    I'm not sure how much work it takes to do those DX 9/10/11 grafts that mult-platforms do. Definitely not worth it if they are planning to retire the engine from the winPC field.

    Something like OpenGL for instance would be the path if they eye the iphone/pad/mobile market which has been seeing massive growth and is touted to be the unofficial 4th-console.

    DX 9/10/11 has no bearing on 350 or Wii2 development, truthfully it should not matter in this day in age the client should be optimized for whatever system it is on. In this case it is on the PC only so the game needs to be working for PC without recourse or thought of potential development down the line on those systems. Now SE could save work as they did in the past being with FFXi they had variable patch sizes for each client. PC and PS2 were not always the same size, which indicated they attempted to develop clients for each system.
