    I like the wards. They are immersive. Like a real-world marketplace.

    In a medieval or renaissance city, nobody bought supplies at an auction house. That would be ludicrous.
    If lag and crowding issues can be resolved, then resorting to buying from a menu at a central location would be a step backwards in game evolution.
    Of course, if the technical issues are insurmountable, we may have to settle for the inferior solution of an auction house type setup.

    Yea, that`s why SE made the wards, for immersion! (sarcasm). If they wanted to immerse you they would`ve fixed a million other things in the game before even thinking up the market wards. They would`ve made the world more lively, made temples, dungeons, they would`ve incorporate Chocobos and Airships already, they could`ve done a million other things. This has nothing to do with `fitting in` its simply so they charge you for extra retainers in the future. Some of you seem to be ok with that.
