Lost 9 million gil...counter went from 10mil to ~900k! :(

I know this is hard to believe but it's what happened. I've submitted 2 Report A Bug forms within the game but no one has responded.

On the morning of Sept 14th I was buying a few things from NPCs and the AH. I had about 11,000,000 Gil and bought various things such as Cobalt Ore and other materials. I was keeping a close eye on the prices as well, as I'm sure I would have noticed something costing 9 million gil.

When I went below 10,000,000 gil the counter then changed to around 999k. And before you ask, yes I am quite sure I had 10,000,000 and not 1,000,000.

SE - I've submitted 2 support tickets so far, can someone look into this? I'm sure you must have records of my transactions. It was mid morning Eastern time on 9/14/13. Thank you in advance!

I had over 100 million gil in 1.0, it was reduced to 10% just like everyone else to a little over 12 million.

I get the feeling you probably didn't buy "carefully" and misclicked thinking you bought 1 item worth 900k but actually bought 10 resulting in your loss.

As for getting your money back, if it really is down to user-error, I'd bet that SE wouldn't be willing to reverse / replace - simply for a mistake on your behalf especially when buying items from the market. You should be more careful.

That's why I said no one would likely believe it. But I know the difference between buying 1 item at a certain price and buying a stack, and the stack price is also displayed in the Market Board list before you even buy it. I'm extremely certain that I did not buy a stack of anything that cost even close to 1 million, let alone 9. I highly doubt I'll get it back but I'm really hoping they can look through the transactions. I figure if they can prove someone got gil from an RMT they can check this too.

I don't think submitting a bug ticket is the way to get this resolved. There has to be other ticket types to submit. When i submit a bug ticket I don't expect to get a response.
