I would not mind paying a race change but no one likes "Cash Shop" so to speak...It doesn't benefit anyone so I don't see why not.

If there was a cash shop, I probably wouldn't play. But it would be nice to have additional services like character transfer and race/name change. Can only hope SE responds to the other threads about it, a simple yes or no by them would be great.

Until then I can wait, will put up with the wrong face that's bugging the hell out of me xD

I've sent them a ticket, received an email about an Item Restoration attempt and they just need the details. Name, time of use, how it was lost, etc. Hoping it's acceptable.

And don't worry, I'm not asking for a cash shop. Just an optional character service.

Bump, just a heads up for anyone who wanted to get their fantasia bottle back after losing it. I contacted SE via website support and they were unable to help, so I used the support desk ingame, gave the same details as I did to the website (Character and world, item name, date and time it was lost, and how). Told them I accidentally saved my unfinished appearance after using it, which was true. Took a day or two and they were able to send it back through the mog mail. Item Restoration can only be used once though.

People hear the words "cash shop" and instantly think of F2P games where you can just buy the best gear in the game. But what they don't understand is that cash shops in P2P games do NOT work this way. The things they offer are pretty much cosmetic at best, and offer absolutely 0 advantage over someone who doesn't use the shop.

People really need to stop freaking out every time someone suggests being able to buy a race or name change, saying they'll quit and whatnot. Really? You'll quit if someone changes their face? Or their name? Some people just care way too much about insignificant things that will never harm them (or anyone else) in any way.

Appearance changes I'm not too concerned about, but name changes are a problem. Let's say there is this player who is a total troll in the game, but your blist is full of RMT spammers, so you just write down his/her name. Many people do this, and s/he can no longer get a group without using Duty Finder, because no one wants to play with them. S/he changes his/her name. Now, s/he can start all over being an asshat, because people won't know who s/he is. It happens.
