    I love to spot a RARE sight randomly on the fields on Vana'diel. It keeps the world feeling like it's full of mysteries(which it is). Also walking or riding a chocobo is more fun because of it as you just might run into something you've never seen before.

    XIV: not that much to discover in or on the fields.

    Then they should probably not tie rare sights with Hax gear, or make it so that what makes it rare is what is required to make it appear
