What do I do with all the fishies?

So today I leveled up my fishing to 16 but omg, my bags are all full and my 1st retainer is full of crafting items and my 2nd retainer are full of armors and weapons which I don't want to get rid of for my next class leveling. But the thing is, what the heck do I do with the rest of the sea creatures that I caught? I have tons of them and I don't want them to just rot in the retainer.

Should I just sell them or what else are they used for if most of them aren't used for culinary and alchemy? (Btw, I looked up alchemy and culinary recipes to see which recipes uses certain seafoods)

fish can be selled for nice price so you can sell some if you dont craft

There seem to be several fish that had a use in 1.0 that no longer do. Fortunately, these same fish also seem to sell for more than 1g each, so you can just sell them to an NPC vendor if there is no use for them.

I usually sell the ones that aren't marked 'crafting material' to a vendor. Then I sell the others on the market through my retainer. I know I can get more so if I need any for my crafting I can always go back and fish for some. Or, if I don't have the time, I have the gil to buy some! *grin*

Haven't quite found a pattern yet for the various level ranges for GC turnins, but I think it's a good idea to sell whatever you have sets of 10 of on the MB that don't have a recipe associated with them in the event they get chosen for that day's turnin.
