TBH I have seen ppl in low level gear with their relic weapons +1 already and thought "WOW carried much!!".

Lol, I've done so many Titan HM and never once bother checking people's gear succeeded or failed. I can see your point right here, but hey, I'm just a healer. Though, I've never once actually completed Titan HM without 1 or 2 people laying on the ground through out the entire fight... those people could be the unique individual you're talking about.

Sorry but I am not being Elitist, I am being practical. And SE agrees with me as they have already announced they will be implementing item level requirements in the next patch. So enjoy it while you can, soon you won't be able to. Elitist would be, "omg! you guys need darklightz and relicz to do this!". And that is not what anyone here is trying to suggest in any way.

If the players with whom you are having this issue were the type of players to read forums then you wouldn't be having this problem with them. The people reading these forums all know what is expected. You are preaching to the MMO choir.

The only way you can avoid playing with poorly geared players atm is by avoiding DF. This is also a faster and more efficient way of doing runs. If you continue to use DF, you only have yourself to blame.

Gee, you're right. It's too bad SE didn't see fit to give us decent gear as quest rewards, or implement some sort of token system so that we could get better gear regardless of what drops throughout our dungeon career.

Ok, I'll confess. Hello, I was one of the people you encountered during that run of Duty Finder Garuda HMs..

He is not being elitist, he stated a reality, that our equipment at that time was subpar for the encounter. He actually was really polite when pointing out that the group was lacking the proper equipment, and he still did a few tries with us before we decided to follow his advice and continue gearing up.

There is no excuse for lv.20, 30, 40 etc.gear, not even if you are the most unlucky roller in dungeons - go to the market and buy yourself some lvl. 49/50 crafted gear. Just like there is no excuse for your grammar, but I suppose you ARE a Notre Dame fan

On a serious note, while people certainly have the right to try whatever content in whatever gear they want, just keep in mind that other people also have the right to choose to not play with them.

Rational request. Lots of people always advocate this extremely reasonable request of people. Be appropriately geared for the content you're running, especially if it's with strangers. And I say especially with strangers because you have zero right to walk into a situation wholly unprepared and impose your unpreparedness on everyone else there, it's rude, selfish, and extremely disrespectful. But that's ok, people who categorically refuse to take any personal responsibility for their own success or failure and seem to dump it at the feet of strangers won't see it that way, they're unable or unwilling to. The "Why can't we all just get along and do w/e with who ever no matter what they're wearing" line doesn't work. This isn't an episode of that My Little Pony business where everyone gets apples and rainbows and it's all ok no matter what. The game asks simple things of you, like being appropriately geared, in order to join in on the fun and rainbows. That's it. No more no less. That's not up to strangers to acquire and hand to you in order to play, it's up to you. This is like going to a high stakes poker game and saying the buy-in is elitist, they should just hand you 100k so you can play with everyone else, oh and by the way, it's your first time ever playing poker so if you don't mind can someone else also play my hand for me while I watch, but cash in if my hand wins, k thanks.

But they shouldn't be able to try. Get your selfish head out of wherever you've stuck it and realize that you DON'T have the right to waste 7 other people's time because you're too lazy or simply unwilling to put in the effort to get a modicum of minimum gear.
It doesn't take long to get a relevant GC weapon, (or buy a lvl 50 one as they prices are crashing rapidly) nor does it take long to make sure your jewelery is up to date. AF is perfectly fine, though I've even encountered people in Garuda that hadn't competed it yet. To expect to be carried to gear is selfish and disappointing.

To answer your question: You don't need dungeon gear for Garuda HM. You need AF, level relevant jewelery and a relevant weapon. None of this is difficult or too time consuming to obtain.

Looking at your profile you aren't even level 50 unless you're hiding your ignorant post behind an alt character. This is a discussion concerning endgame post level 50 stuff.
