At 34 fullmoon sardines at Costa del Sol give over 2500 exp and the HQ ones over 11k EXP.....

I just went from 30 to 33 at this spot, and these numbers are correct. While the other fish gave lesser XP per level, the sardines stayed at an even 2500-2550 through those levels. Just my 2 cents.

EDIT: True, those only come out at night, so probably not the best grind location, but I liked the music and everything I needed was at hand there so it was fun for me to stay there

Just went 36-38 fishing in just over an hour. North of Costa del sol at the waterfall. Look for Curious Gorge the NPC, if you see the naked dancing mithra you've gone too far :P lvl 35 ocean live bait sold from del sol. Puffers @ 3k each, almost 11k for HQ. You either catch puffers or the fish gets away < 10% of the time. For bonus points they're selling for 250ish gil each on Cactaur.

Earlier 30s I was all over the place, but Everschade in Central shroud and the east dune fishing where the L35 quest sends you were both notable xp. If you're in the area and it is night then del sol is still good. North of Vesper kept eating my fly lures but the numbers were nice :S
