To tell the truth, I never played FF11. A friend of mine got me into FFXIV. So I do not have any idea or backround of the previous series. I am pretty much fresh into the FF franchise.

I agree with you on pirate looks. My friend keeps bugging me to buy the Bucaneers' set. I refuse on two points. First I do not like the looks of it, and Second is that practicality of it is bad. The stats I have on my current gear is by far out run any of the Bucaneers' items.

I think what I would like to see more is leather gear with metal pads here and there. I think I could go with couple of those looks from those pics. One thing is defent, is that SE should make more gear. It is always good to have bigger variety. And player can get bigger indiviuality that way.

I wouldn't mind some metal here and there. Could look good. Thing I don't like is the total bondage look. Hell, we look like voldo from Soul Caliber. I hate our garbs. It's not even a matter of wanting a gi of some kind. I just want to look like a warrior... of SOME kind. Instead I feel like I should be wielding a whip and gag-ball.

Lol absolutely quoted for truth! I remember when I put on leather subligar and a leather harness and I was like....the hell is this? Thankfully the scouts/harriers jacket actually look good and there are a few other leg options, but even still I too think we need more variety of armor choices (i'm sure all classes do to some degree) and not ones that make me think my character loves BDSM.
