Dfs are closw to impossoble doing titan because of the tank deadweight. It is much better to get 5dps2heals1tank in this set up, each player doesnt even need to be fully geared just atleast 3-4 DL gear (can be acce) and ifrit weapon.

There is no way you can kill Titan using the duty finder. It's simply not possible with 2 tanks and 2 healers.

Got my titan kill in a party with three tanks (1 PLD 2 WAR) and 2 healers. If people know how to play (dodge and dps properly) DF group composition isn't a problem at all.

Composition isn't the problem, it's people dying over and over for no reason. Sometimes healers would leave the tank's HP dangling at 3k for prolonged periods of time healing the DPS when Mountain Buster comes

The problem I have with Titan is there is no reason to run it more than once. Once you complete it, you don't have to ever go again. And with how frustrating the fight is - I probably will never go again. This leaves a lot of people without a group to do it, considering the fight is so damn laggy you get hit by stuff you clearly dodged.

I beat it several times with premade FC group. However before that I had zero luck in DF. It just doesn't seem DF friendly. Mainly because you pretty much have to memorize P3 abilities so you can pre move out of ripples. People need to pay attention to bomb pattens as well and that doesn't happen with randoms.

Somewhat annoying how you have to bother FC people every time you want to finish a relic to kill Titan.

Lol stop pugging that shit. First off you don't need 2 tanks for it and it is much easier with 3 healers or an extra DPS. What gives you the idea to even try to pug one of the tougher fights in game?

If you feel like you are bothering people in your FC to do content that should only be done via FC, I think it's time to find a new FC. We are constantly going back and doing low level dungeons and HM primals groups for everyone in our FC, thats kinda what they are for.

HM Titan should not even be in the DF. It is something that should be done via FC or premade group. The DF does not allow you to use one tank and 3 healers, which is almost necessary for a PuG group. If you PuG this and expect to clear it LOL.

It's a game, and like any game there is a logical course of progression. You don't start an RPG and instantly go to the highest level area, you'll die without proper preparation. This is no different, it isn't elitist - if you don't have the gear to stay alive, to do sufficient damage or to heal properly, than you can't do the content. In the case of DF, you can't expect complete strangers to be alright with carrying you.
