AK is pretty easy once you get used to it. I have a solution for the OP's situation though. Don't queue in DF, go with your FC.

The problem of AK actually isn't DF or FC group ... It's just impossible to queue because instance servers are full.
Yesterday, I've waited 45mn with a full group FC and ... nothing.

In 1.5 hours you can perhaps run 9 - 11 Garuda Runs give or take a few minutes for mistakes and/or breaks. Each successful Garuda kill nets 7 Mythology and an extremely powerful weapon.

so you expect that people that cant beat AK fast enough as u like, can do 9 garudas in 1-1.5 hours?

For instance, one can wait up to 25 Minutes for entry into Amdapor Keep. .

For primal it also take up to 25min to get a party.

The only time you shouldn't queue for AK is if you have a weapon/armour less than level 50. Anything above that works, but of course better players will make a smoother run. If you don't like who you get in duty finder, make your own group, it's not hard.

i have to aggree u dont like it? que with friends im still helping new players clear it yesterday i helped a new smn and then a sch i wont bai on them cuz i did this dungeon when i had only AF gear and thanks to the nice few ppl in this community i cleared it and i have relic weapon doesnt mean i have to look down on new players with AF gear

that's sill not faster...and significantly harder, not to mention you would have to queue up 4x asmuch if you were pugging.

It is faster than 30mins reserving instance + 25-30 mins AK. And yes it assumes you go with a premade team that can dodge.

I tanked AK with my AF, level 28 rings and neck and an ifrit weapon. This with a group of newly dinged 50s in similar gear. Sure, our dps was crap and we barely killed the demon wall. Yet we didn't wipe once and the second time we tried it it went smooth as butter.

No, AK isn't hard. Grab some 49 jewelry from AH and you're amply well geared for that silly dungeon.

The same counts for hydra and garuda (even if morons keep demanding full DL).
