So your saying you being an Archer you would pick determination over crit? If so why does most of our gear have crit and not determination

Depends on the amount of crit vs the amount of determination. If something is loaded with like +25 crit but +2 dtr, then you take the crit (and vice verse). Just like it demonstrates in the link I posted for you.

in regards to the DL gloves versus the Toxtotes gloves I go with them because of the crit and skillspeed increase

Skillspeed means nothing for bards, at least not at the amount we can gain atm. The only class that skill speed can really matter for atm is monk. THe amount of vit and dtr u get from DL is way more superior than the crit and skillspeed u get from toxtotes

Sorry to high jack this thread (I didn't see a point in starting a new one as its another question about BRD stats), I've just reset my attribute points and wanted everyone's opinion on how to stack them again. My thought was either going a 4/2 DEX/PIE or a 3/2/1 DEX/PIE/VIT. What does everyone think is a good spread of bonus attribute points?

Don't put any in piety, it no longer affects our dmg and only grants mp, and you'd be a fool to trade dex for an extra 100 mp.

I wouldn't look at vit as something you just throw points in. Look at your max hp and figure out how much you get in full party and how much you think you can need.

If you have 3600+ in party, I'd go all DEX. That much will atleast keep you alive with weakness.

Can also re allot whenever you want for 10k seals

Accuracy with bard is easy you have more then enough on your darklight... get ALL the darklight. the next thing is get as much crit as possible then get det.. Skill speed is 100% TRASH for bards.

put all 30 in dex... no reason to ever get anything else.
