300 tomes doesn't even get you 1 piece so it's not that big a deal. Yes they will get an item 1 week before you but if you take a game that seriously I would advise taking a step back. It's all very well wanting to be the best and server first etc, but sometimes you have to accept that it's an unrealistic goal and incredibly unhealthy both for you and the game.

You're trying to make this sound like a small group of players will have an advantage FOR THE REST OF THIS GAMES LIFESPAN over everyone else? Please... that advantage will be gone the minute they release the next tier of dungeons with new currency.

this may be true but then again it might not. you have to understand that this may seem small now but if SE continues to neglect issues similar to this one, no matter how futile, the game will become seriously unbalanced in terms of progression. lets not undermine the fact that "for the rest of the game's lifespan" is not an exaggeration and no matter how silly it may sound, it's still true and relevant in this moment.

I'm sure someone who missed out on a week of tokens won't somehow be forever behind now.

What's the desire to rush everything in the game anyway? I've got a 50 main and 50 crafter along with 26 cross-skill class. I consider that pretty heavy time investment as it is.. yet i've seen people with almost double that. I've seen people with multiple completed relic weapons.. and to what end? So you can jump around Gridania then log off because you killed yourself on the game?

So much wrong in this comment. Yes, others will be "eternally" ahead. I don't know what game you are playing, but we have 300 cap a week, and until that is removed (if it ever is) or a new currency is implemented for new gear (if that ever happens) we will always be 300 points behind people that were able to take advantage of the double reset.

Also, to combat "it's only 300 points, you can't even get a piece of gear with that." Well, look at it this way. This week, if I was able to have that 300 extra points so many people were able to take advantage of, I would be in another piece of mythology gear. Whether how good it is is irrelevant since it would benefit me no matter how you look at it, but, let us look at it as a minimal upgrade. Even then, my entire group could of upgraded a piece this week making the overall dmg/healing better and on some of these DPS races potentially put us over maybe the necessary requirements to complete a fight without hassle.

Will our lives go on? Of course, but that isn't the point of thread, there is a bigger underlining issue than just refunding people who got screwed out of 300 points. The trolling put aside for most of you, it's a pretty serious thing.
