So the different in stats here is

AF2 body/AF1 Helm:
Def:-2 Mgkdef:-2 Vit:4 Mind:4 Pty:14 Determination:-29 Spell Speed:34

Relic +1:
Vit:5 Determination:3 Mind:4 Spellspeed:3

So I guess really it comes down to, do you want Spell speed or determination, I am not sure how much Determination effects Heals, I haven't been able to find any charts that anyone has made up, I am not entirely sure that the AF2 body would be worth it unless you are getting the AF2 helm at the same time really, unless spell speed is much better then determination

Could you guys explain more please? As a SCH, I currently have ~ 800 Myth tomes. I use the chest from AK and some DL accessories... I also have a normal relic book.
What are the "a few better options" for the helm and what are the stats for a +1 relic book?

Based on Test using this site http://valk.dancing-mad.com/?page_id=279 credit goes to Reddit.com from the tool Relic +1 would be a 4.9% upgrade compared to upgrading from DL Cowl to Af2 Body + Vanya (4Meld hat of healing) which would be .72% healing increase.

Granted i'm very new to 50 but my thought was Spell speed would be one of your more important stats. I personally like spell crit/speed. Pulled this from another thread with a general google search

1 Mind=0.49 hp cured. 6 Determination= just above that at 0.51 according the calculator.

My thought was a cure hitting sooner rather than later could mean the difference between a character dying or not. So i'd rather not get an extra 10-20 etc hp on a heal and have that heal at a reduced amount actually land.

WHM: Prioritize Spellspeed.
SCH: Prioritize Crit.

Once your Cure I starts healing for 900+ it's time to focus on stats that help "situational" scenarios.

I got the body already for Titan (first mythology piece I bought), then upgraded weapon to +1. For others I'd advice going for +1 weapon and legs as those won't drop until turn 5 in coil. Relic ring is also a good purchase as it's the BiS with the allagan one.

I went chest and head. I have my relic its just not plus one. The DL chest sucks since it really 2 pieces. I figured what I would make from the myth chest and head I would lose from the +1. I a SCH btw. For my DPS classes though hands down +1 since dps is what your looking for.
