135 minutes in queue, 94 minutes before party filled and then I have another peek and find i'm back to being alone in the queue, screw that.

Fix this or watch your game die....again. No one wants to spend 2-3 hours in a queue followed by around about an hour in the dungeon itself, it's a disgrace.

FF14 endgame...queues.

I actually came to post a new topic but it seems that it's a common issue. It's just taken a party 80 minutes to get in. The game will die on its arse if this isn't fixed. People have limited time, why would we pay to have to sit around to get in a damn dungeon?

Adding servers doesn't scale as well as you might think.

Yep, it's totally worth sitting in a queue for 3 hours vs doing some Ifrits and actually accomplishing something.

IDK what queues you're in but as bad as they are i've never queue'd for three hours. Exaggerate more.



(Also bare in mind as per my original post im on about a ready/full grp who queue's up. It's still a 25min wait and thats still rediculous for a group thats good to go.)

Sadly its not a exaggeration. 2 1/2 hours and counting.

Anything other than instant is stupid when you have a full group. But there is also a huge problem for 1-2-3 member groups, other than the reserve or class composition. If the other member in your DF queue decides to leave while in reservation, the reservation will reset. If you've been waiting 20 minutes in reservation and a person leaves, congratulations, you just started a fresh reservation. Got a person who doesn't join when the queue pops? Congratulations, your reservation was reset and you are waiting again.
