When was Ragnarok ever a summon? Ragnarok has always been a weapon, or vehicle, despite being the ending and rebirth of the Nordic Gods.

but she'll likely be the Primal of the Mamool'Ja, being a contrast to the Amaal'ja's Ifrit primal. Fire and Ice.

IDK about that, Would make more sense if Shiva was represented by something living in Coerthas, considering Square has always had her associated with Ice(and there's not really any ice on a subtropical island). Just saying would make more sense.

Ragnarok was an esper in FFVI, which turns into the Metamorph summon (turns enemies into items).

Shiva is likely the primal of the Gigas. they wear wintery looking clothes and Mor Dhona has what is likely her Aetheryte.

By the way, ODIN is a lv50 Fate. Found it on Grindania forests near Sylph camp.

He wanders across the entire Black Shroud. If its a Shroud area, then Odin can spawn in it.

Leviathan was originally planned to be a Primal battle in version 1.0, but was dummied out along with Titan, because of the tragic Japanese earthquake and tsunami in 2011. Square Enix considered it to be in very poor taste to feature summons in the game which cause earthquakes and tsunamis so soon after the disaster, and hence their battles were never available in the game, although their models were in the client's code.

That's no longer considered an issue though, so expect Leviathan in ARR eventually along with Ramuh (a teaser of Ramuh's battle music was released a while ago by SE as a sneak peak about what to expect).

i remember seeing a post somewhere of a screenshot of what looked like a big crystal in the water off a pier, one of the players postsed saying it might be for a unreleased primal battle against leviathan
