Anyone ever feel like MMO's need a Golden Saucer style thing?

Hell yes, we do.

Seriously, mini-games have been around in Final Fantasy since FFVII, and casinos since FFVI's Blackjack(of course you couldn't do anything IN it, but it was still a casino).

We seriously need to get that Colosseum revamped for actual events and some sort of amusement-filled place somewhere in the game. FFVII had the Gold Saucer and FFXIII had Nautilus. Countless other games have also had these sorts of places, while just like the OP, to the best of my knowledge I haven't seen something like that done in an MMO.

i can't tell you how many hours i spent in vii just doing the mini games. was countless hours of fun. in fact now when i play it that's there my character is stationed.

I would love to see a gold saucer type diversion put into the game but of course not until the fundamental groundwork has been completed but definitely in the future!
