Hey the combined best of thread system works and thus a great thread with only a few posts is revived, like Phoenix from the ashes ^^

yea, some form of gambling would be great, i mean we got pirates and all that, would somehow fit after all XD.
i'd love to have some kind of card/dice game against other players and bet some gilz.
i've said this before. i'd love to see more mini games in general. card games, races, betting on fights, and many other things. we need some sort of mini-game to get rid of down time luls. i'm not a fan of parley at all, but it was at least a start of a mini game. i've felt for a long time this is something that casuals and hardcores could all enjoy together and would bridge some of the hardcore versus casual arguments.

Yes, a mmorpg needs surely this kind of entertainment, to break the monotony. Fortunately there is already a casino building in game. But also a card game would be NICE to have.
i think we all know that this would be an excellent idea, you need some controversy in it to make it hot though, so that maybe it will get read.
but i guess im too negative id definitely like to see this implemented though
Hmm you may be on to something, so I will change my stance from agreeing that we need something like this in the game.
This is a complete waste of the Dev's time, we do not need them to give us more fun things to do as we have plenty already. If you can not find these fun things out in the game then that is your problem.
Don't go wasting the Dev's time by making stupid threads like this and putting idea's into their heads. They have more important things to be working on right now and don't need these silly distractions from idea's like this when plenty of fun can already be found in the game, if you can't find it then this is the wrong game for you we don't need another WoW/FFXI/FFVII clone here.
(am I doing it right?)
yes, exactly alexia. is this where i am supposed to tell you if you don't like it to go to another game?
just had to make sure we follow the forum guidelines that have been set forth by every previous post.

Hell yes, we do.Anyone ever feel like MMO's need a Golden Saucer style thing?
Seriously, mini-games have been around in Final Fantasy since FFVII, and casinos since FFVI's Blackjack(of course you couldn't do anything IN it, but it was still a casino).
We seriously need to get that Colosseum revamped for actual events and some sort of amusement-filled place somewhere in the game. FFVII had the Gold Saucer and FFXIII had Nautilus. Countless other games have also had these sorts of places, while just like the OP, to the best of my knowledge I haven't seen something like that done in an MMO.
i can't tell you how many hours i spent in vii just doing the mini games. was countless hours of fun. in fact now when i play it that's there my character is stationed.Hell yes, we do.
