Of course I got it, so?I'm not sure if you are quite grasping what I'm saying. Since Darklight Chest armor takes up 2 slots. And it's roughly 1360?(I think) for both +1 Head and Chest Artifact. Warrior's and Paladins have to wait 5 weeks before being able to even equip 1 piece of Artifact +1. Whereas everyone else gets to equip their first piece after at week 3 and then their second at week 5. So by week 5 both are on the same page but then Warrior/Paladin has to restart the process of Legs/Boots. So tanks are behind 2 weeks 2 different times in the gearing up process.
Keep playing two more weeks as you did till then and equip it when you get both pieces. Or will your friends leave you behind because you are 2 weeks late?
How would you feel if next patch Puglists gear was 1 entire piece and you couldn't buy it for 10 weeks but everyone else got 1 piece every 2 weeks. In the long run it's the same, right? So what's it matter. What I'm trying to argue obviously isn't that "Oh my friends will leave me behind" it's that certain classes are getting the option to take full advantage of their AF2 whereas the other classes aren't. Right away at least.
It is still not as viable as having 1 piece of Darklight + 1 piece of AF2. Is it a big difference? Not really at all to be honest but all of this could easily be fixed by making every class the same. 5 pieces. Not some with 3, some 5 ect ect.The gear you buy from mythos is called "AF2" and for warrior and paladin hoplite helm + AF2 chest is better than darklight chest. Darklight only requires philo tomes and have no weekly cap. You can become a full i70 tank in a day should you chose to. It is not a waste if you get full i70 down a bunch of turns in BC and get new gear. Because you were heavily geared you were able to down a boss. Being stingy with philo is just slowing progression ultimately.
I'm sorry but I'm not able to grasp the issue. How would you feel if next patch Puglists gear was 1 entire piece and you couldn't buy it for 10 weeks but everyone else got 1 piece every 2 weeks. Following your line of thought no more players should subscribe to FFXIV because the others are already ahead of them.
I'm talking in terms of players in equal progression. Why can't there be discussion over an obvious flaw without getting immature and offensive?
I wasn't trying to offend. I'm sorry if it sounded like that.
What I'm saying is that it's not like everyone will progress at the same rate. I may able to equip 2 split pieces but, by my laziness, be able to gain only 1 of them over 2 months, while another job that has joined equip might be able to grab 3 pieces.
In the long run I don't see how this can badly affect the playerbase.
Oh you are absolutely right. In the long run it's actually entirely even. Every class earns 300 Mythology a week (assuming they cap of course). It doesn't by any means hurt the community. The only thing I was pointing out is that because Darklight Cowl and Heavy Darklight Armor take up 2 spots technically the classes that wear that have to wait them 2 extra weeks. It's like you getting enough Mythology to buy a piece of Artifact but saving until you can get 2 and equipping them both at once. That's the only difference really. It's that certain classes get to take advantage of that piece of gear first.I wasn't trying to offend. I'm sorry if it sounded like that.

I have approximate knowledge of many things.
I think they should never make anymore 2 piece armors. Theyre fugly anyways.
I dunno, this looks pretty amazing: Herklaedi
