Free Trial Ended Early?

Mine also ended today and I am also a 1.0 player who purchased a new copy (mostly for the EA, but also for the extra time). Pretty peeved.

Just moved from the PC and turned on my PS3 version to see if it was also unable to log in. I was prompted to link it to an account... again? I already did that though, which I know because I played through all of early access. Weird.

Anyway, it gave me additional game time... this time. So if anyone else finds themselves to be in this situation, try both systems out again and see what happens.

It had you link the account because the PS3 and PC versions are different in a way. It probably needed you to say "Link your account so we know that your using a ps3 for the game now."

Don't own a PS3 or a PS3 copy of the game. I bought a new copy of the PC game and added it to my 1.0. I received the pre-order items (moogle hat, etc) + Early Access but not 30 full days apparently.

Oh yeah, SE unlinked all SE accounts from their PSN accounts after phase 3. It makes sense that you would have had to re-link them to let SE know your account had that free time.

V1.0 (PC) customers couldn't apply a second PC code to that account. Maybe you just applied the pre-order code to your v1 service account, which gave only the pre-order items and early access? Or maybe you created a second service account under your main account and it got the 30-days free? Each service account is its own separate sub-account with its own set of characters.

I was actually having this problem for a while trying to update my card info for FFXI when I found out it was my browser blocking some payment service SE uses, used IE to update my info and it worked fine.

You have only register your preorder codes, not the gamecode.
You can't register a ARR PC gamecode to your 1.0 account, because the PC version is already regster there from 1.0 and you can't register the same platform on the same account twice.
