So you have 4 DL peaces and the rest of the group also, why should Garuda be a problem, did you even read what i wrote. DL is way better than lvl 30 rings etc and also than the 45 gear.

You said lvl 45 blue equip. Maybe i misunderstood as being both of those and not one or the other.

For every one of those runs you did, someone walked home with a happy weapon, ecstatic that they got something.

You got super unlucky, and I feel really sorry for you, but this isn't a problem with the game.

Though, I wouldn't mind if it didn't drop a weapon if there wasn't a corresponding class in the fight.

People are screaming out for full dl with i70 weapon minimum for cm and ak speed runs. Thats why it matters. I am being shunned from runs due to this terrible rng system. I pretty much have to beg, and after finally getting in, they get that I know how to play after a run, and keep me in for more. Most people do not even give me a shot...

That must be you server than, never heard someone say you need i70 weapong so you allowed to go ak with us... the only fight where you need that weapong is titan and only dd.

Lol at this. You should just ignore those ppl for CM and use the DF. I did some speed runs with the morons spamming chat and they are failures that stand in fire and die to stupid mechanics. Their runs were a whole 3-5 mins shorter than the DF runs I did for CM. You should not do AK though until you get an Ifrit weapon. If you get all of your DL jewelry you could try garuda, maybe better luck there.

I see this all the time in Mor Dhona. I laughed the first time i saw ppl spamming full DL and relic weapon for CM speed runs, I thought it was a joke. I put on a bunch of vendor lvlv 45 gear and a few crafting jewelry pieces and asked for an invite lol. We completed the whole thing in 40 minutes because no one could stay out of red stuff overlapped on the ground. And most failed at skipping mobs. I then did a DF run in the same gear and we did it in 30 minutes. It is so stupid to pay repair costs on your l33ts gears when you can do the run just as fast in vendor whites.

I wish I could get into that many groups to run 47 + , I have trouble finding groups that will take someone WITHOUT a relic !!!!

If the group is looking for people specifically with certain gear, you don't get to join if you don't have it. I fail to see the problem.

As for what you could do...

I'd say start a party yourself, join one that is not speed running with relics, or just use the DF.
If anyone in the DF yells at you for not having a relic weapon, kindly remind them that they did not have their relic either upon reaching 50 and running the dungeon.


OT: I don't mind the RNG, I just wish that it would drop weapons based on what classes are there. Every time a wrong weapon drops, I beat a puppy. Please SE, think of the puppies.

Just adding to the stats of this thread, 29 Ifrit kills:

• 0 Axe drops
• 1 Lance drop
• 1 Sword drop
• 2 WHM staff drops
• 3 Bow drops
• smattering of BLM/SCH/SMN weapons and a few (~5) MNK weapons

I can see 1 weapon dropping if there were only 4 people, but 1 weapon drop for 8 people is ridiculous imho. 7 people are going to walk away disappointed, or with no weapon at all.

I've lost count how many HM Ifrit runs I've done as a WHM, and never seen the Cane drop. First, you have to have the RNG roll for the item you want AND THEN you have roll against the others who still need it.

At the very least, change the loot table so it drops 2 weapons. The way it is currently is ridiculous, very frustrating and terrible design.
