I think that they need to make it that 2 weapons or 1 weapon and 1 token for tomes drops, but 1 drop for a run is annoying it should at least drop 2 because 1/8 is horrid 2/8 at least 1 in a normal 4 man party gets a drop.

Its the same in every fckin game, ppl state; "meh I've been there a million types and seen X 10000 times and Y 2 times, but not my Z".

This is true and its why end game has tokens, because in 1.0 we got so fed up with random that we wanted definite.

Now people are complaining that end game is nothing more than farming tokens, SE can't win either way lol

Personally I couldn't care less for Ifrits weapon, Garuda on the other hand would be nice.

Titan is pointless because of Relic though.

Really though, if there is a 1 % chance of getting a drop and you have ran it 100 times and have never seen 1 drop what does that mean numbers wise?

4 times i have run Ifrit and 3 of those times it was a Gld weapon the other was a spear which seemed to come as a shock to the group for some reason.

I read stuff like this and i know it sounds hokie but i really think it has to do with your account lol. So many times i have ran this thing and i have never seen a paladin weapon drop.... EVER.... BUT let me tell you that i will have about 5 jobs set when they hit 50 lol.

They should really change this ones name to Iffy, sinces its Iffy if you will get a drop.

It means that if there is a 1% chance of getting a drop, every single run has a 1% chance. Doesn't matter if it's 100 runs or 1,000,000. You may never see it because that 1% chance is "reset" on every run. (It's not cumulative)

I have been trying to get my claws from ifrit all weekend... I think i would feel better if i have at least seen them drop and another MNK in my group got it, but no i never see them at all... just books, bows, THM wands... i did get the bow for when i lvl ARC (which is my next job to 50) but uhh i would like my claws nao kthxbye.
