If English isn't your first language then I genuinely apologise, but in all honesty I don't understand what you are trying to say in post #10.

What I think he went was on about was the community likes the game being a mess with no features working correctly.

Congratulation gifthorse. With a mere post, you derailed an entire topic.
And not with a serius statement, but with a free, trollish statement. You wanna be proud.
Please, stop this, nobody loves dudes acting as a douche to be cool.
You can be against a thing in a more polite way.
You're acting, right ? :/

I agree. They should improve the stats on a bunch of those NM gear (faction and open world). My main beefs with gear in this game are the Templar/Vintage Haubergeons and the Kokooroon/Mosshorn/Vintage Scalemails. I know it goes further than that, but I don't feel like getting into Bliaud/Divining Hat VS Harle debate, or why the Conq. Elmo > Silver Tricorne.
I realize that all games have certain pieces of equipment that last a long time. All I'm saying is that at this point in the game, those who have access to higher level content should be awarded appropriately.
I want to know why a common item like a Vintage Haubergeon has better stats then the Templar Haubergeon, an item that has a VERY low drop rate.
There is literally no incentive to use a Templar Haubergeon aside from bragging rights or looking cool. Even the the headpiece is junk.
My other complaint comes from a new item, the Kokooroon Scale Mail. A Rank 30 body piece, it arguably eliminates the need to use ANY other piece of armor higher that it as far as damage dealing goes, because of its ridiculous buffs. Suddenly, the Mosshorn Scale Mail some of my LS members slaved to earn is now useless.
I don't know if this is basically an extension of the Hardcore VS Casual debate, but if it is, it seems almost unfair that the supposed "hardcore" players get rewarded less for doing more, whereas "casuals" can go out, kill an NM a few times, and get some instantly awesome gear.
I'm all for instant gratification. That's what keeps the game interesting.
But what about the people who got to 50 as fast as they could, slaved away on the NMs like Dodore, Elder Mosshorn, and Great Buffalo, and then slaved even more to rank up the crafts to actually make their new toys? Why are their accomplishments being undermined?
EDIT: I realize that Faction NMs aren't all that hard. They're actually a joke. And so are the roaming NMs ever since that last patch. But still, the first time around, NMs used to be tough.
Also, I avoided mage gear because how mages work in general in this game are just... I can't even begin to explain.
Considering the stats do nothing noticeable anyway theres no reason to fix the stats on them, apart from Vit & Mind but they get cap at some point anyway.
I like it, but it's yellow, and I'm like, I didn't want yellow for my engagement ring. - Paris Hilton
