Scholars need cure poison Esuna? by 32

I hate the healing mechanic here, I deleted my 35 whm. However, I am loving my 33 Paladin.
Just so you all know where I am coming from.
Just tried brayflox with my pally, we did ok with a scholar until we got to the final, his heals and let me say, he (the scholar) was awesome. He could not make up for the poison damage with his fairy and heals.

Ok I am probably not the best tank that ever donned armor but I kept the mob walking away from its poison, and faced away from the crowd, also the red indicators of attack are completely bs, just think its a roughly 90% cone coming from his mouth if you cant get behind him your taking full poison which is a (+4) times damage dot.
I had a bard in the group when I did this with my whm, and pretty much spammed esuna.
I am not sure why they don't have a poison cure at that level? Anyone?

OH yea and before you asked, 8 anti-poisons and 10 Hi-pots. Yea I know someone was gonna say it.

tbh it has to do with confidence and speed of which you react. I heal brayflox without any issue, everyone said omfg brayflox poisons rawr rawr but I don't actually feel pressured in that instance. My tank gets out of the directional attack 90% of the time with 10% being lag so it definitely lowers the burden.

I also like to stand near the DPS so they are sure to get the aoe heal from fairy.

Cleansing is more of a crutch to me at this level, I don't miss it or need it. It would make the instance a zillion times easier if I could use my AOE heal but even with only the fairies things work out well.

As a scholar I healed brayflox for a very extended period of time because the tank would/could not avoid the poison on the ground. I'm talking like 15+ minutes, likely longer. I wouldn't be surprised if it was 25 minutes. My point is, I never ran out of mana. I just healed through it. As long as you use physick instead of the shielding heal, you aren't goign to go oom this fight unless your group is standing in the puddles. As I already said, the tank couldnt keep brayflox out of the poison, so im pretty sure they were eating all the AE abilities as well.

This isn't to brag, this is to say how having esuna really would have been of little consequence for this particular battle. Scholar can certainly complain about the cure fruit mechanics on later battles and how it doesn't affect the faery, but on this one everything is fine imo.

Something I adore about the Scholar shields: They also work to nullify DoT's. Now, that doesn't mean spam shields left and right. That just means, don't panic. If you feel like the tank is taking damage too quickly from either a DoT or direct damage, bust out a shield. Use your class' mechanic. I don't understand why people are so hesitant with the shields. It's the one thing that makes Scholar unique, so break it out! You're kind of meant to run out of mana at some point - oh, sure, you'll last A LOT longer than a WHM, but you're still meant to run out eventually. You can just get it back a heckuva' lot easier than the WHM.

Brayflox isn't too bad, trust me done it 30ish times as SCH. If the Tank's latency/ping isn't too bad it's actually pretty easy given some natural intelligence. I'm not here to say it's your fault, but maybe your interwebs box isn't as fast as you think. The red indicator for AOE is pretty spot on for me.. While others think they have plenty of time to spare and it's really been over for a second or so.

No, Leeches at 40 is the only answer, Esuna isn't available to SCH.
