2 HOUR QUEUE TIMES? MORE DUTY FINDER SERVERS NEED TO BE ADDED ASAP!

Amdapor is so packed it drives me nuts. So between the 30 minute waits for whatever reason I have to do the instance ( usually mythology ) I spend that time wasting all my gil and craft. They need to fix it....I think the lag in the instance servers is also causing the "titan bug." That they never fixed. >.>

One of the server groups is way over packed too vs the other one

This group (Behemoth/Cerberus/Coeurl/Excalibur/Faerie/Gilgamesh/Leviathan/Midgardsormr/Phoenix/Sargatanas/Shiva/Ultros) queues are still 20-30 min. A guy I know on Hyperion told me queues are almost instant the majority of the time, which has the other NA servers.

Well you DPS guys have yourself to blame, if you won't switch to healer, which is only a handful of quests to do for a SMN (like the OP) them more fool you.

Every MMO has problems with DD/DPS having long queues.

I will agree that they need more servers still, but yesterday was the first prime time since maintenance so I am sure they are keeping an eye on this.

Your queue for a dungeon doesn't actually start until you have a full party so you can shave 50 mins of that right off to begin with.

Perhaps it's worse for level 50 content, but so far as tank I almost always get a party instantly with the duty finder. Yet if I switch to a dps class I wait ~40 minutes.

So isn't the problem more to do with there being lots of dps classes in the game with only a couple tank/healer ones? and of course as always dps gets played more often.

EDIT: I'm level 44 paladin, forum is showing me as lv 28 for some reason.

Again, he's not talking about the que to get a group he's talking about the reserving instance wait when the instance server is full. I am a 50 tank and me and my FC waiting 35 minutes last night to get into AK because it was full. The duty finder said "Reserving Instance"... We qued up with a full 4 man, meaning we had no group form que. The issue isn't that he's dps, it's that the instance server for Amdapor Keep can't handle the amount of people trying to get into it.

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I do believe this may be a glitch in the DF. Several times I've queued for an instance and had a cut scene or something interrupt the duty finder, and it will show exactly that same screen for reserving the instance for an eternity.
Every time this has happened, we've withdrawn, dissolved the party and reformed to queue again and, bam, instant dungeon.

Even solo queuing, I have never been able to enter an instance whilst on the "reserving" menu. Even as a healer it's happened, and again, withdrawing and queuing again granted instant access.

A bit of trial and error, but I'm noticing a pattern which leads me to think it could be a bug?
