Those things just became a pain for everyone lmao. Maybe once PvP comes around, they'll make it to where you challenge a person....and then a timer with yes/no pops up on that person's screen. Say, 20 seconds pass, no input, defaults to yes > murder the ever living hell out of the RMT....one can dream

Oh, that would be lovely. I so wish this would happen, even though I know it never will. It's a beautiful dream, for gil bots and gathering bots alike.

SE is too busy nerfing speed runs instead of fixing the bot and shout/tell spam.

So true. Their priorities don't make any sense to me.

Has SE even acknowledged the bots/spammer problem yet? I'm sure there are enough bots and spammers that if SE removed them all they could probably open character creation back up on many of the servers.

Allowing some bots can be a good way to keep track of gold farmers. They can track where the gil they make is going and hopefully ban the mothership of gil instead of just one of the pawns.

I figured I'd come and drop my 0.02 in here;
I'm kinda worried about this; it's discouraging as a crafter and a gatherer to see the bots running rampant, and I too refuse to buy gathered mats on the auction house now because I don't want to risk buying something from an RMT.

I reported a botter on Hyperion about a week ago; Atira Swiftclaw. Walking from node to node, instant gathering, fully stealthed, 'random' jumps. (I say random because it looks like she's jumping without reason, but jumps at exactly the same points on her path). I checked every couple days, but she was still there, walking her path in the south shroud.

I hope SE steps it up soon, now we have groups of craft bots in the DoL guilds... I dread to think what it's going to be like in a month.

I'm concerned that SE is gonna nerf gathering to counter these bots -.- I'm sure it won't happen, but still lol. Like in XI, they nerfed bird blood, which was really a great way to farm (aside from the mass RMT competing for leeches), then they nerfed angel skins which I *really* loved to farm, then came blinkers. So far any action they've taken has had a negative impact on more than just the RMT :/ I could *almost* see them instating some type of delay to gathering, or limiting it to so many gathers...almost like Fishing Fatigue in XI. Hope SE isn't reading and taking notes >.> if you are t(o.o)t
