2 HOUR QUEUE TIMES? MORE DUTY FINDER SERVERS NEED TO BE ADDED ASAP!

never been had trouble with DF since patches last wednesday. I think u should make some friends in your server, and doing dungeon together 4 or 8man.

The reason you are waiting so long is due to solo queues. Today the queue for AK was about 20 min with a full group. The problem is when you solo queue every time someone leaves the queue by hitting withdraw that you have been matched with or doesn't click their button when the queue pops you get put at the back of the line again. You can get very unlucky have have people leave the queue and thus reset the matchmaking process and put you at the back of the line over and over.

I do think they need more duty finder servers. It was ok for awhile after the maintenance but as soon as more people got 50 the queues became long again.

Your a DPS, almost half of the Classes are DPS. the problem is that there aren't enough tanks and Healers to fill the duty roles, not that there's no room.. duty find as a tank or healer. guarantee its only a 10 second wait.

This is standard bullshit . Even if you join whit a premade 4 man party you get reserving istance sometimes for more then 30 minutes up to one hours

I don't think you guys are understanding what's going on.

First, you must wait for your party to be 'full'. Then, you must wait for an instance to be 'free'. There are only a certain amount of instances available per dungeon, and if you are running a popular dungeon, you might have to wait a long time.

How can I prove this? Try signing up with a completely premade party for CM or AK. If you don't get an instant-ready queue, there aren't enough instances available. Back when AK speed runs existed, full groups would have to wait anywhere between 20-30 minutes just to get a 'slot'... and that was when people would clear the dungeon in 20 minutes. Now it takes closer to forty. It gets even worse if you don't have a premade group and have to wait the necessary 20+ added minutes if you are a DPS. I generally won't join DF groups unless I'm super desperate.

The duty finder isn't the problem. The instance server is. Amdapor Keep is being creamed with people trying to get in. As other's have said they need more places to get myth, or more AK Instance servers.

Join an endgame LS. More often then not, I see people looking to fill spots in my chat box more sooner than I get put in a party in DF.

Offer spots to friends and LS mates before registering. Who knows, maybe there's a WHM or TANK that wants to run with you getting you a quick cut to the front of the line.

Such a shame the game relies soley on Instanced content do preform anything in the game. Maybe if there was something in the open world more engaging than zerging fates people might be spread out doing multiple kinds of content and not just cramming into a instanced box with no room to fill.

Have you seen the Behemoth or Odin fates? About 500-1000 people trying to fight the same mob that it blinks in and out and people's characters just blink in and out and you can't even see the monster. If they had more stuff like that it wouldn't play well. I would take instances anyday even if you have to wait 30 min with a full group.

sigh... People saying he is dps... He's not talking about the wait on forming the group. He's talking about having a full group but sitll not getting in because it's reserviving the instance.

And to people saying the instance server can handle it, SE doesn't have one big instance server. They have instance servers for each instance. Meaning the server serving Braylonx Longstep is a different machine than the server serving Amdapor Keep. Amdapor Keep is filling up so people see "Reserving Instance" basically meaning that it is waiting for a group to finish the instance or leave the instance before letting another group get in. They need another amdapor keep server or multiple, or more dungeons serving myth.
