Yep agreed. You'd be a fool to let speed running elitists rob you of the best online story dungeon experience out there.

I personally make it a point to chastise those that demand first timers view them later at the INN. Tanks usually leave immediately, but who cares. The point is that even if you CAN watch them in the INN why should you? You should watch the story unfold as you're doing it, not later on just remembering what you did while in there.

Normally I don't like to make these kinds of suggestions, but I wish you COULDN'T skip the cut scenes your first time through. That way people can't complain, and everyone that wants to watch can do so without feeling pressured.

Personally I wouldnt push people to skip the cutscene though an exception may be if the dungeon timer is starting to get low, personally I rather have time for another attembt or a bit more leanway timer wise, but I still wouldnt press people to skip the cutscenes. I dont mind the wait.

I skipped the cutscenes, sadly, and went to the Inn to rewatch them, but I don't see them anywhere. The Main Story section is the only section in my book that has anything in it so I have no idea what happened at the end. So lame. :/ I don't remember seeing a Duty section anywhere. The Sidequest section is blank (I haven't done them passed lv 15, saving them for other classes) and the Grand Company ones are also blank. Didn't have a Duty section . . .

Didn't help maintenance started, so I will definitely look again, but I was pretty thorough.

itd be nice if the timer stops and a barrier surrounds the party like in primal fights, i skipped all the scenes as to not be a burden on my party because the clock is ticking but if they pause the timer i wouldnt of been worried. have yet to watch my scenes lol

The "you can watch on the inn" "argument" is irremediably stupid when there are first-timers because it breaks context, breaks the very feeling of a final dungeon, and first of all: there's plenty of time.

On my first time, only one vet. His advice was harsh, was there only to farm. Kinda broke the feeling, but even so I watched everything, rushed a little through the text, but I can read key words and make up what's happening, so it's no big deal.

We had one wipe at the very end of that fight in the end when that special thing happens, and yet I left the instance with more than 30m left. I don't think all the CS together make up for more than 10 minutes, really.

So all you are doing is taking from the farmer "oh my precious 10 minutes I could be using to farm 1/6th of that next dungeon" but guess what - eveyone paid for the same product. And it is (and should be) the farmer's option to leave or not. Watch the damn CS if you are new, they are nice.

I think it would be nice if they froze everyone in place until all members have finished the cutscenes (sort of like they do at the start of a dungeon). It would prevent some of the more general asshattery that I've seen occur in Prae and CM.

10 mins of their life and they can die in real life the next min. Elitist are like wet paper towel. Just watch the cutscene and ignore any ppl who ask you to skip.

i dont really farm with pug now. And i dont mind first timers watching cutscenes but this is my opinion.

4+ ppl all watching cs together => great.

1 person makes 7 ppl waiting for him => not cool at all.
