This Bard stacking thing needs to be dealt with

7.5 total seconds before a full fester is ready in most targets unless you have the miracle scenario where a 5 yard bane can be done for an instant fester burst.

Congrats it took you 7.5 seconds to burst for around the damage of a BLM's Fire I. Meanwhile all he needed was an astral fire stack to do that damage in 2.5 seconds, assuming he didn't get a Firestarter/Thundercloud proc earlier.

2.5 sec cast time from garuda for 160 damage hits is not burst. Especially when you issue the command to switch and it takes the pet a good 1-2 seconds to start doing what you commanded it to do.

People seem to confuse what bursting means. You need to burst Titan's Tombs. You need to burst the Satin feather. Burst means doing a spike within a very short time window.

SMN sustained may be alright, but their ability to burst really hinders it as a class. I basically rely on my bard and monk and BLM to do the kills because it's not even worth my time to switch out of the boss to cast a pitiful ruin+ pet auto while my dot's fall off boss.
