    There are achievements for gathering ("I Found That") and crafting ("I Made That") many different items, so having what you've done marked off in the log helps you pursue those achievements, if you're interested.

    yeah currently im fiddling with some crafting/collecting classes for achivements etc while wait for duty finder for tome farming xD so the logs r just to max out the unique x amount of collecting?
