Well obviously, if your only focus is to get to 50 on one class and you find that fun then by all means.
The point is, that none of these threads are going to fix an issue concerning 5% of the playerbase that chose to only focus on endgame from the moment they started playing.
I would recommend taking a break before you're so burned out you can't even stand to log on.

A lot of us have jobs, or school, or kids we have to pay attention to every now and then or else they'll grow up with a general sadness inside. Some of us have all of the above. We can't dedicate 5-10hours to a game a day as much as we'd like to.
i didn't rush to 50 by any means and i am already on my way to having a 2nd. i will be in full darklight in the next couple days, already have my relic and will pretty much just be loafing around in coil until 2.1 comes out.
i work 8+ hours a day, sometimes weekends too. i go out and do things. i go to the gym every other day. it's not super hard to progress in this game like some of you seem to think it is. that being said though, OP you may want to rethink your expectations with this game. chances are there won't be much of a jump in content for raiders / progression minded people until at least 2.2 or even later. strap in for the long haul or start looking elsewhere for your fix, just my advice.

I have my PLD and WAR both at 50, in full Darklight, with my PLD Relic. I don't feel like I've hit a wall at all. I've actually been looking at what else I have left to do, and I feel a little overwhelmed. I still have DRG, MNK, BRD, BLM, SCH, WHM to level, plus all of the crafting and gathering classes. I always enjoy getting to max level quickly and jumping into content, and this is the first game that has let me do that and still seems like it has a TON of content left for me to do.

I wouldn't say he rushed. I mean I'm a very casual player. I refuse to rush. Only play a couple of hours on weekdays, and a bit more on weekends. I already have my acn to 39, mining to 15, cnj to 15, weaving and cooking to 5-8. Fishing to about 10 I think ,Got my chocobo and ranked him up to 3. Am a corporal in my GC. Ya nothings maxed but if I just did my acn instead of other things I'm positive, even being as casual as me I'd be in the OP's position too...

I miss "level up a crafting/gathering class to earn a bit gil" in your listYou don't really have to rush to check content off the list.
Assuming you got to 50 as a new player, 5 days or so with MSQ/Fates/Quests -
Wanderers was DoA outside of obtaining items to meld for Relics
Amdapor was doable with full AF, a few runs/upgrades into the dungeon and you clear it faster each time
-Earn tokens for Darklight, Relic Weapon, AF+1
Primals are DoA outside of Relic quest, no reason to farm weapons because outside of Tomestones you can do a new Relic every 1.5 hours
Bahamut's Coil locks you out of each Turn until the weekly reset, meaning once you've farmed enough Mythology, beat Turns1-4, your week is over.
You didn't have to rush to be at this point by any means.

This is what happens when you make a game a rush to "endgame". Most likely the devs will not be able to push out content faster than the players will be clearing it. Yet another thing that I called waaay back before I was just another "doom sayer" in the beta forums: the game will pretty much be clearable because of how short the "journey" to endgame is (if it even exists at all), or at least clearable until the next content patch rolls out. An MMO should never be "clearable", at least not for a very long time. Take note, SE; your player base is clearing your MMO in less than a month.
This^^, I"m seeing already also, in less then a month. The worlds are going to be ghost towns in another month or so. Its all about rush rush rush get everything done, stand around uldah with your weapons out. Oh wait you can't do that anymore.....This is what happens when you make a game a rush to "endgame".
