RMT on the loose it's a serious issue

So like, I know this post is being old and probably a lot of you already have made a topic about it.
But seriously I don't see any serious results from square on that enormous issue.

    1. for 100 RMT's accounts maybe 2 to 3 is being really taking care of ( by taking care : canceled account )
    2. the reporting system is really bad. It takes way too long to my opinion to report an RMT, when a simple right click in "guild wars 2" was making it so easy and simple. I don't think I should have to spend 30 minutes a day writting a report on EVERY RMT shouting / whispering / yelling. We are paying for the service support to provide EASY tools for such issue.
    3. the blacklist is leeking when you open it to write new names. I can have 2 RMT blacklisted spamming 2 shouts by the time it loads! On top of it, it's player unfriendly to use. Did you ever tried to spell an RMT player ? No then try it... have to pass by tell and macro to blacklist one guy.... seriously...

Out of all people I blacklisted ( only RMTs) only 7-8 were canceled... this is lame, i'm sorry for being rude.. but really... I will hit the 200 rmt blacklisted maybe in a few and I'm sure I will not hit 20 RMT banned...

Ah I forgot an essential point.... Square... not taking care of the issue, making cities unfriendly to most of us... Who wants to go in city to be spammed "like hell"? 1sec = 2 shouts. I can't even appreciate the scenery anymore without to feel upset about my chat log. Can't see friends on linkshell writting, can't see real players making offers for crafting / party / creating linkshells or compagnies.... Cities are for us to relax, not a source of harassment and time consumed to spell right RMT names to our blacklist, neither filling reports...

Upon completing the story line you get to see the credits. In those credits are the names of only 2 people that make up the special task force.

Could it be that there only 2 people for all the servers working on this?

If 50 threads isn't enough to make them realize that ignoring this problem won't make it go away, than maybe 100 will.

All of the threads. All of the complaints. All of the reports filed. And the best they can do is to brag about banning 828 accounts. That comes to a whopping 2.6 accounts per server per day. It would take 10 times that many to get things under control. They can blame it on having to weed through 10s of thousands of reports sent if they want, but if they'd ban these characters before they've shouted for 12 hours they'd have a heck of a lot less reports to weed through.

The only way to explain why there would only be 828 bannings in 6 days is if the Special task force consists of 1 person.
I could read chat logs and ban more than that in 6 days. If that's the case, the person who set up this task force of 1 needs to lose his/her job. If there's more than 1 the men/women on the task force, or those setting up their prioritys need to lose theirs.

The devs have clearly acknowledged this issue and are prioritizing their already stretched thin dev team to more pressing matters, such as issues that prevent people from playing the game all together. I would, and a majority of people would, see them address the critical issues before superficial problems such as this.

What do you know about SE's financials? That's a rhetorical question, we both know the answer is that you know nothing. SE has never been a titan, despite it's nostalgic nerd following worldwide. They are doing with they can with their restricted budget. There is no sense in tanking the company to respond to trivial issues such as this when there are much larger issues at hand. They are addressing issues in order of gravitas, as well as acknowledging the other issues with a raincheck on the wait to to have them fixed. The worst thing they could do would be to cave to irritated post-teens who think they understand what is and what isn't profitable for their company.

They know of this issue, have acknowledged it was an issue. Re-posting a 100th thread isn't going to expedite this meaningless issue on their priority list.

The only issue I have with the way SE has been conducting business is the lack of response to players (both publicly (forums, etc) and in response to service tickets) who are seemingly left dead in the water, despite the fact that they know of the issue and are working on it in order.

It's not about adding 10s or hundreds of people to address the issue. It's about using your resources a bit smarter. If they had the sense to take some people off of sorting through the 10s of thousands of reports, and do something about the issues people are reporting, guess what? there'd be less reports to weed through. It takes a whole hell of a lot longer to read 1 or 2000 reports on a shouter than it does to stand in a zone for 30 seconds then ban whoever shouts to sell gil.

They had the time to address the fact that people in 1 lonely thread were butthurt that some folks were skipping trash mobs in a dungeon and finishing before them, but an issue that clearly hurts the gaming experience of countlessly more is incredibly mismanaged. Skipping trash mobs with a sac pull= maybe possibly grey area against the rules and bothers very few, fixed immediately. RMT shouts= unquestionably against the rules, bothers many many more people, makes their chatlogs unusable, we'll fix it with filters some time in the future.

As for the assumptions you make about me, you seem to know less about me than I know about SE's financial situation.
Not everyone who isn't pleased with everything about this game is a whiny early twentysomething. I've been playing Final Fantasy games since the day the first one was released in the US. I love them all, and really like this game. I just want SE to listen to our issues and make smart decisions on where they spend their resources. A couple people spending 5 minutes on the chatlogs of each city in each server could greatly improve the gaming experience until they're able to find a more permanent solution. It would also ease the strain on the folks that have to look through all these complaints.

If you have issues with any of my ideas please feel free to say so. I made no personal attacks towards you, I would appreciate the same courtesy in the future.
