I used to see this in EQ2 a lot. I am not a big fan of selling loot rights and clears. The only problem I see with it is people buy gil, credits, gold w/e are also the type to pay for clearing services. Many crews that sell services (not all) use 3rd party software. There are web sites that sell scripts and programs so one person and run a whole raid themselves. People are just so lazy. I would wait and get it done myself wipe after wipe then pay someone to run me through.

I've seen tanks on my server charge people for instant ques. If someone needs a dungeon run to complete story and their dps waiting on a 3 hour que... They pay. I've heard of people paying 30k+ for an instant que on Stone Sigil.

It's no different than you tagging along with your FC's endgame group as a fill-in for an absantee and get a free win out of it. The only difference is they chose not to charge you.

As long as the payment is in-game currency and items, or even items in game bought with real money aka mounts, vanity pets, (stuff legitimately sold by the game) I think it's fine. I've seen a lot of people pay others with vanity items bought with real money.

So I read through the pages on this topic. Okay I understand some of you may not find this is not a problem. I find this this annoying for the simple fact that people are taking the easy route and not learning how to run the dungeon and getting gear out of it. I know let them play the game how they want but If we have people keep buying this clear run stuff they won't even know how to do the fight.

Once players get their shiny weapons the allure wears off in a week or two. This game turned out be such a dissapointment. Oh well, im sure the special snowflake hardcore raider crowd is in love with this trash.
    So you will:

A: Pay for this "trash", which is quite a waste of money for you, and not very smart.
B: Quit playing, in which case just do it and quit wasting space on this forum.

Where do you see a issue here, they feel their time is worth something I guess that idea just is to much for you.

not really, I give stuff away for free in real life too that other people charge for (even more so, I give stuff away that I paid for)

I must really, really fail at life.

    on a random note:
I have NEVER seen people openly charge for 'clear runs' in either LOTRO or SWTOR
I don't remember ever seeing it in TSW either, for that matter, but I haven't really played endgame over there in a few months so things might have changed. in fact the only game I've ever seen that in was final fantasy online. so yeah. take that for a community always sticking together. /burp

Ignore those that try to exploit others by charging to do a run they probably are not experienced anough in themselves. Players like this end up alienating themselves and their whole group.
