Oh please tell me oh great lvl 28 archer (who doesn't have quelling strikes, or even Bard) what you plan to do during the other 75 seconds between the cool downs of quelling strikes? Heals? Tankz? You haven't even entered high level play and most of the problems actually are eliminated when most of the bad tanks are weeded out. In fights where DPS is a determining factor (e.g. HM Titan, Demon Wall, etc.) You can't afford to be held back by tanks who can't hold aggro over 2 constantly healing healers and 4 constantly DPS(-ing) DDs. In case you didn't know, Bard actually does it's role (DPS) quite well and if it had no buffs, it still would be the same situation. E.g. I've over 480 crit so fights usually go something like this (more often when I use Internal release)
GCD1: Fires Straight Shot
Off GCD: Fires Bloodletter
GCD2: Fires Venomous shot
Off GCD: Venom crit, Fires Bloodletter
GCD3: Fires Fires Windbite
Off GCD: Venom crit, Fires Bloodletter
GCD4: Fires Heavy shot, straighter shot activated
GCD5: Fires Straight Shot, crits due to straighter shot
Off GCD: Venom crit, Fires Bloodletter
Off GCD (again...): Windbite crit, Fires Bloodletter
GCD6: Fires Heavy shot, Heavy shot crits

.
Not sure if that BLM guy was serious either when he looks at "faster DPS" or what. DPS is a rate (S stands for seconds) so... faster is higher. And this has practically no TP cost (total net -60TP for the 6 cooldowns example) so the damage is indefinite (no "spikes"). So yeah... Of course I didn't include any of the buffs either (two +20%, straight gives indefinite [practically] +10% crit, another +20% crit, triple auto attack, other moves off GCD (12 second CD)). Of course you can continue believing what you want but I've never cleared Demon Wall as fast as I can with 2 Bards. Yeah, no AOE limit break, no DD limit break, just attack the bees and they die quickly.
