2 mysterious characters have been appearing since Patch 1.17a. Yoshida-P said they may release some of what is planned for Patch 1.18, due in June at the earliest, in Patch 1.17b in mid-May. The entire Easter event is about a girl trying to rebirth the Archons by getting people to collect eggs. Darkness has fallen over all of Eorzea the past few days, music randomly stops playing, and it rains much more often in all areas of Eorzea.

I don't know about NOTHING suggesting that something is gonna happen...

Oh sorry about that, I'm from a country that puts the date in order of its units, from smallest to biggest. 'Day -> Month -> Year'

But yes I can understand why people would be confused by that. 'Month -> Day -> Year' is clearly a much simpler system.

I don't think anything will happen as far as a surprise update, but I do think something like a page update outlining what major threat is to come with patch 1.18. That's fine. Leave this month bare of a patch if it means a healthy patch next month. As long as it's something that will have the ignorant loud mouthed minority eat their words.. I'll be happy. Oh, and something that will make the rest of us happy will be a plus as well.
