You don't -have to- but it is still the most efficient way of doing so.

Starting with Stone Vigil every dungeon drops Philosopher Tomes. The problem? The amount you get from non-Amdapor dungeons is far less. For example Wanderer's Palace (The other level 50 dungeon) only drops 50. Amdapor drops 80 (AND 40 Mythology). The dungeons lower than Wanderer's Palace drop even less, the lower level the dungeon the lower the tome amount.

Roger. So, in practice, are level 50 static groups actually doing those other dungeons? What I personally think (please note: think) is that the difference in tome quantity plus the 40 Myth warrants the complete disregard for any dungeon other than AK. Which subsequently shrinks the available (viable) content at 50.

Is this the case? Honestly.
