The bottle you got allowed you to change everything, due to 1.0 being a tad more limited than what it is now.
What OP is talking about is rather limited.

I could be wrong, but I think they are both the same same item. Only giving the option for 1.0 players to have it sooner.

And if they choose to increase the included time again, as much a benefit it is to us, it is also a punishment as it delays when we get or can start earning our vet rewards.

That would be indeed the downside of that.

Turns out that despite being on the NA servers even though i am a long way from America itself, nor Europe, when using a game time card, i am automatically granted the veteran rewards. I added a 60 day time card to my account and after completing the process, i was instantly granted rank 2 of the veteran rewards.

Got the Bikini vouchers (yet to find the vendor in the game), hand cursor pet thingy, fantasia character edit potion and the black chocobo chick pet.

The vendor is at Revenants Toll in Mor Dhona(level 40+ zone) so you have to wait a bit if you don't want to brave the danger.^^

Turns out that despite being on the NA servers

Being in NA servers is irelevant - all it counts is to have NA SE service account - if you don't have that then indeed you can get the rewards right away.

Got the Bikini vouchers (yet to find the vendor in the game), hand cursor pet thingy, fantasia character edit potion and the black chocobo chick pet.

Be VERY carefull when redeeming those in Mor Dhona - you can select both male as well as female top and bottom for each character but you have only two vouchers for each so DON'T select the ones with opposite gender otherwise you'll unable to wear them at all!

Well - unlike the Faire event - you'd not be able to get more of those vouchers so you'll simply miss out if you select wrong one(s). There is currently a bug prohibiting players from disposing of those Faire event items or even to move them to Airmore in the Inn. Hope they'll fix it soon.

In regards of getting to Mor Dhona - either ask friend to "escort" you there (preferably someone with raise just in case) or have "run" for it -just follow someone else there - they'll keep the mob aggro most of the time.

Except my entire guild is roughly as high as i am. Highest we have is 32.

I managed it! Level 23 in a level 49 area. After dying about 4 times, getting sent to NG, teleporting back to try again i finally managed it. Only entered combat once on my last and successful attempt. The entrance to Mohdimsomething. There are guards pretty close together but i simply out ran then on my Choco and made a beeline for the blue teleporter stone. Splitting the distance between bad guys kept me alive long enough to reach the place.

Purchased both FEMALE bikinis correctly and proudly wore them in NG for all to see! :P
