Anyone know how long they hold recently deleted character names?

My friend had a name I wanted and deleted it but I still can't use the name.

I've got this issue with a name on my server, usually though it instant.

(EI: This morning I deleted my name save of Pink Floyd for myself to re-roll him as a Conj, and I also deleted Fire Fox for my friend to take and use totally okay....) (yet a name that isn't showing as used on the lodestone.... Error 3035.)

Why would you need to "re-roll"?

They probably wanted to start off as Conjurer instead of whatever initial class they had picked.

Are you getting error 3035 too?

I know some games hold the names you delete for like 24 hours. It may be the case with this game as well

It's always been instant whenever I had to do it. There's a chance the server is lagging, or.. that someone else took the name. Dunno.

It's not. I deleted PF and remade him in 20 seconds of that.

Correct. I like to level characters individually, it's fun for me. He was originally an Archanist but I HATED IT.

I'm not talking about using a name you deleted yourself. I'm talking about someone else deleting a name and you taking it.

I deleted Fire Fox. My SO took it within 20 seconds of that as well. :d different account/PC/Internet at the time.
