Anyone know how long they hold recently deleted character names?

It's always been instant whenever I had to do it. There's a chance the server is lagging, or.. that someone else took the name. Dunno.

I'm not talking about using a name you deleted yourself. I'm talking about someone else deleting a name and you taking it.

I deleted Fire Fox. My SO took it within 20 seconds of that as well. :d different account/PC/Internet at the time.

Hmmm then I have no idea what's going on then. I really doubt someone took this name in the few seconds between my friend deleting it and me trying to take it. Also when I search for the name on the lodestone it doesn't show up that there is a character anymore on my server with that name. Guess I just need to wait and keep trying
